Stone Bridge
At 08.00am, our professional guide will pick you up at your hotel in Tirana and then we will drive to Prizren, through a beautiful valley and mountainous terrain. First stop will be The Stone Bridge. The Old Bridge is strange because its three arches are smaller and not identical to one another at the middle, which is the largest arch. The bridge's appearance changes in the 1950s when the "Remzi Ademi" road is adjusted, with the north side's right arch being closed to make room for more traffic. Despite having a deformable view, the bridge held up until November 17, 1979, when floods filled Prizren, causing the bridge to collapse entirely. The Bridge was reconstructed, with the inauguration taking place on November 17, 1982, and the cornerstone being set on June 5, 1982.
Sinan Pasha Mosque
In Prizren, Kosovo, there is an Ottoman mosque called the Sinan Pasha Mosque. The bey of Budim, Sofi Sinan Pasha, built it in 1615. Located above Prizren's main thoroughfare, the mosque commands a commanding view of the town's skyline. It features a painted mihrab with a stalactite hood covered by a smaller half-dome under a larger, larger dome. The Sinan Pasha Mosque's dome and walls were painted with Qur'anic verses and flowers throughout the 1800s. The minbar has floral designs painted on it. Lead is used to cover the mosque's huge dome and half-dome. The carpentry and the mosque's stone flooring are original.
Kalaja Fortress (Optional)
It's Well Worth Making The Steep 15-Minute Hike Up From Prizren's Old Town For The Superb Views Over The City And On Into The Distance. The Fortress Itself Is A Little Tumble-Down But Restoration Work Is Currently Underway. In The Evening Heaps Of Locals Come Up Here And A Slight Carnival Atmosphere Prevails. In The White-Heat Of Day, It Can Be Quite Lifeless. Archeological Remains Have Been Found Here Dating Back As Far As 1100 BC But The First Fortress Was Built Here By The Byzantines
