Itinerary
- We will leave Tirana at 5:00 am to drive toward the Koman Lake and depart at 9:00 am to the other side of the lake, Fierza.
- Koman From 1985 this manmade lake is the only way how locals who live in the surroundings get in touch with the modern world. Driving from Fierza to Valbona will needs around 45 minutes, passing through Bajram Curri, the municipally of the area.
- Lunch break in Valbona and free time to visit and enjoy Valbona Valley.
- We now go on the exciting journey from Valbona to Theth, often known as the Big Day of the Tour, by following the historic route that the locals have been doing for years. When this was first established, hiking from Valbona to Shkoder required two full days! Walking down this trail will take us into the oldest section of the town, where people still live in amazing, over a century-old stone homes that are a witness to the past. The 18-kilometer hike provides breathtaking vistas of huge, narrow valleys and lush forests. Along the way, we make a stop for lunch at one of the classic cafés, but we also make sure to load up on snacks in case.
- After trekking for about 7-8 hours we arrive in Theth that will for sure amaze us with its unique nature, history, and traditions including the village’s symbol, the Lock-In Tower.
- After breakfast, the” Gurnas” Waterfall is the next attraction. Around 45 minutes walk from the center of the village the round to their pass through most of the village into soft hilly terrain.
- Shkoder : Leaving Theth behind and driving for around 3 hours we will reach Shkoder, the biggest city of the Albanian North. Free time in Shkoder and return to Tirana in the evening where it is the end of our tour.
